Refining element intended for a refiner with flat or conical opposed refining surfaces, which are rotary relative to each other for working and refining lignocellulosic material during its passage through a refiner gap (15, 35) between the opposed refining surfaces from an inlet portion with smaller diameter to an outlet portion with greater diameter. The refining element (19, 39) is formed with a refining surface with bars (20) and intermediate grooves (21) which extend over the entire refining element. The bars (20) in the inlet portion of the refining element (19) form an angle of 50-85° with the radius or generatrix of the refining surface. The angle decreases along the surface of the refining clement (19, 39) so that the bars (20) in the outlet portion form an angle between -25° and +25° with the radius or generatrix. The bars (20) in the inlet portion are located at a greater mutual distance than in the outlet portion.

Elément de raffinage destiné à un raffineur à surfaces de raffinage opposées plates ou coniques qui effectuent une rotation les unes par rapport aux autres afin de travailler et raffiner la matière lignocellulosique au cours de son passage dans un espace (15, 35) du raffineur situé entre les surfaces de raffinage opposées s'étendant d'une section d'admission à petit diamètre jusqu'à une section d'évacuation à plus grand diamètre. L'élément de raffinage (19, 39) est constitué d'une surface de raffinage pourvue de barres (20) et de rainures intermédiaires (21) qui s'étendent sur la totalité de l'élément de raffinage. Les barres (20) de la section d'admission de l'élément de raffinage (19) forment un angle compris entre 50 et 85 DEG avec le rayon ou la génératrice de la surface de raffinage. L'angle augmente le long de la surface de l'élément de raffinage (19, 39) de sorte que les barres (20) de la section d'évacuation forment un angle compris entre -25 DEG et +25 DEG avec le rayon ou la génératrice. Les barres (20) de la section d'admission sont placées à une distance mutuelle supérieure à celle de la section d'évacuation.
