ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a refined edible oil which has good oxidative, flavor and cold-test stabili- ties, and which will retain such characteristics in storage without the necessity for stabilizing additives. In addi- tion, the present invention provides a method for the produc- tion of such a refined oil which is characterized both by its ability to refine oils with impurities which had previously prevented acceptable processing by physical refining methods and further by its ability to recover economically valuable impurities and by-products.
