A reflection type screen for projectors, having an excellent color reproducibility of a bright portion of a projected image, a large angle of visibility and a high SG value, comprising a substrate (1) such as a white plastic film which has reflecting characteristics, and an optical diffusion layer (2) obtained by dispersing an optical diffusing agent and a pearl pigment into a binder resin and formed on the substrate, the pearl pigment in use being obtained by coating an upper surface of mica with titanium dioxide, and having optical properties that it reflects blue rays of light out of the rays of light sent out from a light source and transmits rays of light of complementary colors thereof, a projected image of a high whiteness being formed with bright portions thereof not tinged with yellow when a personal computer image having many bright portions is projected, the content of the pearl pigment being preferably set to 5-100 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the binder resin, and to 10-150 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the optical diffusing agent.
La présente invention porte sur un écran du type à réflexion qui se caractérise par une excellente aptitude à reproduire les couleurs d'une partie brillante d'une image projetée, un grand angle de visibilité et une valeur SG élevée. L'écran du type à réflexion comprend un substrat (1) tel qu'un film plastique blanc présentant des caractéristiques de réflexion, et une couche (2) de diffusion optique obtenue par dispersion d'un agent de diffusion optique et d'une nacre artificielle dans un liant résine qu'on forme sur le substrat; la nacre artificielle étant produite, en utilisation, au moyen du revêtement d'une surface supérieure de mica avec du dioxyde de titane, et présentant des propriétés optiques lui permettant de réfléchir les rayons bleus de la lumière provenant des rayons de la lumière envoyée par une source de lumière, et de laisser passer les rayons de lumière de ses couleurs complémentaires. Une image projetée très blanche est formée, cette dernière comportant des parties brillantes non teintées de jaune, lorsqu'une image d'ordinateur personnel présentant plusieurs parties brillantes est projetée. La teneur en nacre artificielle est de préférence fixée à 5-100 parties en poids par rapport à 100 parties en poids du liant résine, et à 10-150 parties en poids par rapport à 100 parties en poids de l'agent de diffusion optique.
