ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A reflective insulator assembly for the inside of a window is disclosed. The assembly provides a removable shutter for a window to aid in preventing heat loss by radiation. The assembly has a rectangular frame for mounting on the inside of the window, the frame has a top member, a bottom member and two side members. The top member has a slot extending therethrough, and the bottom and side members have grooves in inward facing sides. A sheet of flexible material is provided having reflective surfaces on both faces, the sheet extends through the slot in the top member and has bottom and side edges to fit into the grooves in the bottom and side members, and a roller is provided for the sheet, located adjacent the top member.
