A reflective netting material suitable for providing over and/or adjacent the plant as bird netting, insect netting, shadecloth netting, windbreak netting, or hail protection netting, is knitted, woven, or non-woven, from a synthetic monofilament, yarn, or tape or combination thereof formed from a resin comprising at least one white pigment such that the monofilament, yarn, or tape reflects at least 30% solar radiation on average across the UV (wavelength about 280-400 nm), visible (wavelength about 400-700 nm) and very near infrared ( wavelength about 700-800 nm) ranges, and which transmits at least 10% or 5% on average of solar radiation across the wavelength range about 800-2500nm.

L'invention concerne un matériau en filet réflecteur adapté à être déposé sur une plante et/ou de manière adjacente à celle-ci, comme filet anti-oiseau, filet anti-insecte, filet d'ombre, filet brise-vent, ou filet de protection contre la grêle. Ledit matériau est tricoté, tissé ou non tissé à partir d'un monofilament, d'un fil ou d'un ruban synthétique ou d'une combinaison de ces derniers formés à partir d'une résine comprenant au moins un pigment blanc de telle sorte que le monofilament, le fil ou le ruban réfléchisse au moins 30 % du rayonnement solaire en moyenne sur toutes les plages des UV (longueur d'onde d'environ 280-400 nm), de la lumière visible (longueur d'onde d'environ 400-700 nm) et du très proche infrarouge (longueur d'onde d'environ 700-800 nm), et transmette au moins 10 % ou 5 % en moyenne de rayonnement solaire sur toute la plage de longueurs d'onde d'environ 800-2500 nm.
