The invention relates to a weather and corrosion-resistant reflector with high overall reflection in the visible and infrared wavelength ranges. Said reflector contains a reflector body with a reflective surface consisting of aluminium or an aluminium alloy or a reflector body with a reflection coating consisting of aluminium or an aluminium alloy. The reflector also contains an outer, final, transparent protective layer consisting of a sol-gel coating which is thicker than 1 um. The transparent sol-gel coating is a polymer consisting of cross-linked inorganic siloxanes with alcohol groups that are bonded to the silicon with a carbon bond. The sol-gel coating is produced in a sol-gel process and after having been applied to the reflector body, is dried and hardened using heat. The protective layer is characterized by its excellent resistance to weather, corrosion and abrasion.
L'invention concerne un réflecteur résistant aux intempéries et à la corrosion, présentant une réflexion totale élevée dans la gamme de longueurs d'ondes infrarouge et visible. Ce réflecteur présente un corps réflecteur comportant une surface réfléchissante en aluminium ou alliage d'aluminium ou un corps réflecteur présentant un revêtement réfléchissant en aluminium ou alliage d'aluminium. Ce réflecteur comprend en outre une couche de protection extérieure finale transparente constituée d'une peinture sol-gel présentant une épaisseur supérieure à 1 µm. Cette peinture sol-gel transparente est un polymère constitué de siloxanes inorganiques réticulés comportant des groupes alkyle liés au silicium par une liaison carbone. Cette peinture sol-gel est produite selon le procédé sol-gel, et, après application sur le corps réflecteur, séchée et durcie sous l'action de la chaleur. La couche de protection se distingue par son excellente résistance aux intempéries, à la corrosion et à l'abrasion.
