The present invention pertains to a refractory brick based on at least one refractory metal oxide in a particle fraction of <8 mm containing 4 to 30 wt.% of a very fine refractory fraction, prepared by firing below a temperature at which the particles of the very fine refractory fraction sinter by recrystallization with grain growth.

La présente invention concerne une brique réfractaire à base d'au moins un oxyde métallique réfractaire sous forme de fraction particulaire < 8 mm, et de 4 à 30 % en poids d'une fraction réfractaire très fine; elle est préparée par cuisson en dessous d'une température à laquelle les particules de la fraction réfractaire très fine sont frittées par recristallisation avec croissance du grain.
