[PROBLEMS] To provide a safe, nontoxic, and high-performance mixed refrigerant for heating/hot water supply systems which is prepared by mixing dimethyl ether with carbon dioxide and which does not deplete the ozone layer, has a low global warming potential, and permits low-pressure operation. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLMES] A composition which comprises 1 to 10 % by mole of dimethyl ether and 99 to 90 % by mole of carbon dioxide, each percentage being based on the total number of moles of dimethyl ether and carbon dioxide.

L~invention concerne un réfrigérant mixte, sans danger, non toxique et fournissant d~excellentes performances, destiné à des dispositifs d~alimentation de chauffage/en eau chaude, ledit réfrigérant étant fabriqué en mélangeant de l~éther diméthylique avec du dioxyde de carbone. En outre, ce réfrigérant n'appauvrit pas la couche d'ozone, présente un faible potentiel de réchauffement de la planète, et permet un fonctionnement à basse pression. La composition selon l~invention est constituée de 1 à 10 % en moles d~éther diméthylique et de 99 à 90 % en moles de dioxyde de carbone, chaque pourcentage se fondant sur le nombre total de moles d~éther diméthylique et de dioxyde de carbone.
