Refrigerant compositions are disclosed which comprise: (a) pentafluoroethane, octafluoropropane, trifluoromethoxydifluoromethane or hexafluoro-cyclopropane, or a mixture of two or more thereof, in an amount of at least 35 % based on the weight of the composition, (b) 1,1,1,2- or 1,1,2,2- tetrafluoroethane, trifluoromethoxypentafluoroethane, 1,1,1,2,3,3-heptafluoropropane or a mixture of two or more thereof, in an amount of at least 30 % by weight based on the weight of the composition and (c) n-butane or isobutane, in an amount from 1% to less than 2.3 % by weight based on the weight of the composition.

L'invention concerne des compositions réfrigérantes renfermant (a) du pentafluoroéthane, de l'octafluoropropane, du trifluorométhoxydifluorométhane ou de l'hexafluoro-cyclopropane, ou un mélange d'au moins deux de ces composants, dans une quantité égale à au moins 35 % du poids de la composition, (b) du 1,1,1,2- ou 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroéthane, du trigulorométhoxypentafluoroéthane, du 1,1,1,2,3,3-heptafluoropropane ou un mélange d'au moins deux de ces composants, dans une quantité égale à au moins 30 % du poids de la composition et (c) du n-butane ou de l'isobutane, dans une quantité comprise entre 1 % et moins de 2,3 % du poids de la composition.
