For use with a heat exchange system having a compressor (CO'), condenser (CX'), evaporator (EX'), expansion device (EV') and circulating refrigerant, an efficiency enhancing apparatus. Comprising the apparatus is a liquid refrigerant containing vessel having a refrigerant entrance and a refrigerant exit with the vessel positioned in the heat exchange system between the condenser (CX') and the evaporator (EX'). Included are means associated with said vessel for creating a turbulent flow of liquefied refrigerant.

Appareil amplifiant l'efficacité s'utilisant avec un système d'échange thermique possédant un compresseur (CO'), un condenseur (CX'), un évaporateur (EX'), un dispositif d'expansion (EV') et un réfrigérant en circulation. L'appareil amplifiant comporte un réservoir (1) contenant le réfrigérant liquide, possédant une entrée (20) de réfrigérant et une sortie (25) de réfrigérant, ledit réservoir étant placé dans le système d'échange thermique entre le condenseur (CX') et l'évaporateur (EX'). Des moyens (35, 60) associés audit réservoir servent à créer un écoulement à turbulences de réfrigérant liquéfié.
