A refrigeration heat exchanger having a finned coil with longitudinally extending and end-connected tube passes and transversely oriented fin plates secured across the tube passes to form a tube bundle, and a support section for non-rigidly suspending the tube bundle therein and which includes end plates with enlarged openings accommodating the tube passes, truncated plate and beam means constructed and arranged at the outer lateral margins of the tube bundle fin plates to orient the tube bundle with the end plates and other support means for engaging and aligning the outer margins of the fin plates and truncated plate means.
