Methods for rejuvenation of supported metallic catalysts comprised of a Group VIII metal, a Group VIB metal, making use of these metals, an organic complexing agent, and optionally an organic additive, are provided. The rejuvenation in-cludes stripping and regeneration of a spent or partially spent catalyst, followed by impregnation with metals and at least one or-ganic compound. The impregnated, regenerated catalysts are dried, calcined, and sulfided. The catalysts are used for hydropro-cessing, particularly hydrodesulfurization and hydrodenitrogenation, of hydrocarbon feedstocks.

La présente invention concerne des procédés de renouvellement de catalyseurs métalliques supportés comprenant un métal du groupe VIII, un métal du groupe VIB, l'utilisation de ces métaux, un agent complexant organique, et éventuellement un additif organique. Le renouvellement comprend les étapes consistant à démétalliser et à régénérer un catalyseur épuisé ou partiellement épuisé, suivies par l'imprégnation avec des métaux et au moins un composé organique. Les catalyseurs imprégnés, régénérés sont séchés, calcinés, et sulfurés.
