ABSTRACT Register adjustment device for a rotary printer A register adjustment device for a rotary printer for adjusting the circumferential register and the lateral register of a plate cylinder, with one drive gear which engages with a first toothing on a double gear, whose second toothing engages with a further gear which is connected with the plate cylinder so as not to turn and to be axially immovable relative to the latter. One of the toothings on the double gear is an oblique toothing, and the other toothing on the double gear has a direction differing from the above-mentioned oblique toothing. Both toothings on the double gear are immovable relative to each other. The double gear is mounted on bearings so as to be axially immovable and is connected with a first adjustment device, and the plate cylinder is mounted on bearings so as to be axially immovable and is connected with a second adjustment device characterized in that the second toothing (12;114) of different direction on the double gear (10;110) is a straight toothing. In this way, it is not necessary to shift the double gear and the second gear different distances to change only one register. (Fig. 1)
