[PROBLEMS] To provide a regulatory T cell suppressing a CD8+ killer T cell which has been activated and thus injures tissues and cells. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A CD8+CD122+ T cell subset is provided as a regulatory T cell which suppresses the activity of an activated CD8+ killer T cell. By administering this T cell subset, injuries in tissues and cells can be suppressed. By using an experimental method, moreover, it becomes possible to search for a drug potentiating the immunological suppressive activity of this T cell subset.
