A lightweight manhole cover assembly includes a cover and a base, with the cover including an inner surface having a plurality of ribs extending therefrom. The base includes an inner surface having a plurality of receptacles extending therefrom. The receptacles of the base have a layout that corresponds to the ribs of the cover, such that the ribs are adapted to be inserted into the receptacles. Latching and clamping or sealing assemblies are adapted to retain a lightweight manhole cover assembly in a desired position over an opening.
La présente invention concerne un ensemble léger de couvercle de trou d'homme comprenant un couvercle et une base, le couvercle comprenant une surface interne ayant une pluralité de nervures se prolongeant à partir de celle-ci. La base comprend une surface interne ayant une pluralité de réceptacles se prolongeant à partir de celle-ci. Les réceptacles de la base ont une disposition qui correspond aux nervures du couvercle, de sorte que les nervures soient adaptées pour s'insérer dans les réceptacles. Les ensembles de verrouillage, de fermeture ou de scellage sont adaptés pour maintenir un ensemble léger de couvercle de trou d'homme dans une position souhaitée au-dessus d'une ouverture.
