This reinforced electrolyte membrane for fuel cells is characterized in that voids are present in the surface of the porous membrane and/or the joined portion between the pore surfaces and the electrolyte for suppressing swelling at the time when water is absorbed. This reinforced electrolyte membrane for fuel cells enables to improve dimensional stability even when the electrolyte is swelled.

Cette membrane d'électrolyte renforcée pour piles à combustible est caractérisée en ce que des vides sont présents dans la surface de la membrane poreuse et/ou la partie de jonction entre les surfaces des pores et l'électrolyte pour supprimer le gonflement au moment où l'eau est absorbée.
