REINFORCED MOLDED PLASTIC TANK FOR COMPRESSED AIR AND METHOD OF MAKING SAME Abstract of the Disclosure A reinforced plastic presure vessel of sandwich-type construction and method of making same. A plastic hollow container is molded with at least one neck. A fabric envelope is fashioned to fit the container snugly and is slid over the container. The envelope is then either drawn closed by means of drawstrings or is covered by a second fabric envelope. The envelope-enclosed container is then coated with an outer layer of protective and stabilizing plastic.
