A reinforced arch made of arcuate panel sections is disclosed. The addition of stiffening elements such as bracing or a tensioning apparatus to the arch increases the strength and stability of the arch. By attaching a plurality of these arches together in a spaced-apart relationship with a series of purlins, a high strength frame for a soft-covered building could be produced.
