Abstract of the Disclosure Reinforced panel structure include a panel core formed from a cementitious composition that has controlled bleed characteristics. For example, the cementitious composition may comprise hydraulic cement, a dis- persing agent, a gelling agent, and water. At least one woven, fabric re- inforcing layer in the form of a sheet is laminated in the panel core closely adjacent at least one of its faces. The controlled bleed characteristics of the core composition insures that the reinforcing layer is bonded tightly thereto. The fabric from which the layer is made has a tensile strain that is compatible with the compression strain of the panel core to permit the panel to be cold formed. The cold formable reinforced panel is produced by providing at least one sheet of woven fabric; combining the components of the cementitious composition which may include hydraulic cement, a gelling and a dispersing agent, and water; encapsulating the fabric sheet with the cementitious composition so that the sheet is closely adjacent one face of the uncured composition; vibrating the composition to insure that the fabric is encapsulated therein; and curing the composition.
