ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A reinforced rubber hose having an outer rubber layer made of a chloroprene compound having incorporated therein 25 to 50 PHR of at least one vegetable oil having an iodine value greater than 100. It is possible to impart a high degree of low-temperature resistance to the outer rubber layer without sacrificing the ozone resistance inher- ent in chloroprene. The reinforced rubber hose is suitable for automobile hydraulic brake hose.
