-11- REINFORCEMENT RINGS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A page reinforcement ring is a sheet of tear- resistant material with two spaced ring-receiving holes in it. A slit in the sheet extends between the two holes and is offset to one side of the holes. The reinforce- ment ring is applied to the edge of a ring binder page by folding the reinforcement ring around the edge of the page, arranging it with the holes in the reinforcement ring aligned with a binder ring hole in the page and then secured in place with an adhesive. Once the page has been slit in line with the slit in the sheet of tear- resistant material, the page can be placed on or removed from the ring binder ring without opening or closing the ring.
