A reinforcing assembly (21) for a tubular cross member (4) of a rail and tram car bogie (1) has a liner (22) elongated along an axis (23), deformable radially, and insertable axially inside one end (19) of the tubular cross member (4) to line an inner cylindrical surface (25) of the end (19); a tubular body (32) insertable coaxially inside the liner (22); and a number of radial forcing devices (31), which are activated to force the tubular body (32), and hence the liner (22), radially outwards to lock the liner (22) frictionally against the inner cylindrical surface (25) of the cross member (4).

L'invention concerne un ensemble de renfort (21) pour une entretoise tubulaire(4) d'un bogie (1) de voiture de chemin de fer et de tramway. Ledit ensemble présente une doublure (22) allongée le long d'un axe (23), radialement déformable et axialement insérable à l'intérieur d'une extrémité (19) de l'entretoise (4) tubulaire afin de doubler une surface cylindrique interne (25) de l'extrémité (19) ; un corps tubulaire (32) insérable coaxialement à l'intérieur de la doublure (22) ; ainsi qu'un certain nombre de dispositifs d'application de force radiale (31), qui sont activés afin de forcer le corps tubulaire (32), et par conséquent la doublure (22), radialement vers l'extérieur de manière à bloquer la doublure (22) par friction contre la surface cylindrique interne (25) de l'entretoise (4).
