A cord for rubber reinforcement which comprises reinforcing fibers and a coating film formed on the reinforcing fibers. The coating film is a film formed by drying a coating fluid comprising a rubber latex and a vulcanization aid, at least 50 wt.% of the medium contained in the coating fluid being accounted for by water. The rubber-reinforcing cord has high adhesion to a matrix rubber comprising as the main component a blend of a hydrogenated nitrile rubber containing zinc methacrylate dispersed therein with a hydrogenated nitrile rubber. It can be easily produced.
L'invention concerne un cordon de renfort en caoutchouc qui comprend des fibres de renfort et un film de revêtement formé sur les fibres de renfort. Le film de revêtement est un film formé par séchage d'un liquide de revêtement comprenant un latex d'élastomère-caoutchouc et un agent d'aide à la vulcanisation, au moins 50 % en poids du milieu contenu dans le liquide de revêtement étant représenté par de l'eau. Le cordon de renfort en caoutchouc présente une adhésion élevée à un caoutchouc matrice comprenant en tant que constituant principal un mélange constitué d'un caoutchouc nitrile hydrogéné contenant du méthacrylate de zinc dispersé à l'intérieur et d'un caoutchouc nitrile hydrogéné. Ledit cordon peut être produit facilement.
