The member contains a bundle of continuous filaments of polyparaphenylene terephthalamide in a matrix of a cured epoxy compound. The linear density of the non-impregnated bundle of filaments is 300-2000 decitex. The reinforcing member has an apparent bending stiffness of 1-25 PSN and its deformability is 2-10%.
