Disclosed are a reinforcing strip for supporting a reinforced earth wall and a method for placing the same. A front end (F) of the reinforcing strip 10 is folded into halves and inserted into a reinforcing strip insertion groove 22 formed in a block 20 forming the surface of the reinforced earth wall so that the reinforcing strip 10 is directly connected to the earth wall con¬ struction block 20 without an anchor or an anchor pin, and a plurality of the reinforcing strips 10 are continuously or installed in a reinforced earth 50 in a zigzag shape, or individually buried under the reinforced earth 50. When a plurality of the reinforcing strips 10 are continuously installed in the reinforced earth 50 in the zigzag shape, rear ends (R) of the reinforcing strips 10 are buried under the reinforced earth 50 under the condition that the rear ends (R) are folded into halves or are erected. A folding groove 16 is formed in a central portion of the reinforcing strip in the lengthwise direction so that the central portion of the reinforcing strip 10 has a smaller thickness than other portions of the reinforcing strip 10, thereby allowing the front end to be folded into halves and inserted into the reinforcing strip insertion groove 22 of the block 20.
L'invention porte sur une bande de renfort servant à soutenir un mur de terre armée et sur son procédé de mise en place. Une extrémité frontale (F) de la bande de renfort (10) est divisée en plusieurs moitiés et insérée dans une rainure d'insertion de la bande de renfort (22) façonnée dans un bloc (20) formant la surface du mur en terre armée de sorte que la bande de renfort (10) soit en contact direct avec le bloc de construction en terre armée (20) sans qu'il soit nécessaire d'utiliser une pièce d'ancrage ou un goujon d'ancrage. Une pluralité de bandes de renfort (10) sont implantées en zigzag et de façon continue dans une terre armée (50) ou enterrées séparément dans la terre armée (50). Lorsqu'une pluralité de bandes de renfort (10) est implantée en zigzag et de façon continue dans une terre armée (50), les extrémités arrière (R) des bandes de renfort (10) sont enterrées dans la terre armée (50) à la condition que les extrémités arrière (R) soient divisées en moitiés ou soient implantées. Une rainure de pliage (16) est façonnée dans une partie centrale de la bande de renfort dans un sens longitudinal, de sorte que la partie centrale de la bande de renfort (10) soit de plus petite épaisseur que celle d'autres parties de la bande de renfort (10), ce qui permet de replier l'extrémité frontale en moitiés et de l'insérer dans la rainure d'insertion de bande de renfort (22) du bloc (20).
