Abstract of the Disclosure An apparatus for reinking ribbons, including computer ribbons, comprising means for feeding the ribbon to be inked; means for collecting the reinked ribbon; drive means; guide means; inking means for applying a reinking composition to the ribbon so that it can be reused to print, including a reinking composition supply reservoir, a feed or ductor roller and an inking roller, wherein the positional relationship between the feed and inking roller determines the amount of reinking composition transferred from the reservoir to the ribbon; and cam means for adjusting the positional relationship between the feed and inking rollers.
