An apparatus adapted for manual operation by an individual has a first plate and a second plate. Each of the plates has a plurality of openings which are positioned such that, when the plates are secured together, each opening in one plate is aligned with a respective opening in the second plate. A ball bearing is provided for each pair of aligned openings, each of the ball bearings being positioned between the adjacent inner faces of the first and second plates. The ball bearings are rotationally mounted in each respective pair of aligned openings so that an individual may cause rotation of the ball bearings by passing their fingers across the ball bearings.
