ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The invention concerns a protection device for elec- trical power supply networks, such as sections of lines, busbars, transformers and the like, preferably quick-operating protections of, for example, the type which is based on measuring the extension of transient waves in components in the event of a fault, and which has a circuit for generation of tripping signals and blocking signals, respectively, in dependence on whether the fault lies ahead or behind. The device is provided with an arrangement to be used when a single pole tripping has been made and a new single phase fault occurs in one of the intact phases before the faulty line has been rapidly reclosed, for preventing a further single pole tripping and instead performing a triple pole tripping. The arrangement consists of an undervoltage detector with three first inputs per phase, which are connected to the outputs of a phase selector includes in the protection device, three second inputs per phase, which are each connected to an input for voltage measurement result signals on a wave detector included in the protection device, as well as three outputs per phase, which are each connected to an input of a relay unit included in the protection device.
