RELEASE AGENT ABSTRACT The release agent of the present invention has as its effective component an organopolysiloxane microemulsion which is produced by the emulsion polymerization of organo- polysiloxane, which has an average particle size of not more than 0.15 micrometers, and for which the viscosity of the extracted organopolysiloxane is at least 100 centistokes at 25°C. As a consequence, this release agent is characterized by an excellent mechanical stability, stability in dilution, and stability in blending, and to has high utility in the art.
