Intracellular material is released from bacterial, yeast, plant, animal, insect or human cells by the application of a low voltage such as 1 to 10 V to a suspension containing the cells. The conditions may be selected such that DNA released from the cells is electrochemically denatured so as to be available for use in an amplification procedure.

Cette invention concerne un procédé permettant la libération de matière intracellulaire à partir de cellules bactériennes, de cellules de levure et de plantes, de cellules animales et d'insectes ou de cellules d'origine humaine, ladite libération étant obtenue par application d'une basse tension de l'ordre de 1 à 10 V à une suspension contenant lesdites cellules. Il est possible d'agir sur les conditions d'application du procédé pour que l'ADN libéré par les cellules soit dénaturé électrochimiquement de façon à ce qu'on puisse en disposer pour une procédure d'amplification.
