ABSTRACT This invention is for a liquid remoistenable adhesive composition having suitable high temperature and high humidity properties comprising water and a combination of a partially hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol and a chemically inert, non-thermoplastic, cold water insoluble, particulate additive which is compatible and dispersible with the polyvinyl alcohol and provides resistance to hygroscopic blocking and thermoplastic blocking.
