Low cost, low power consumption radio frequency transceivers are incorporated in barrier operator control systems for transmitting signals between an operator control unit, one or more remote control units, a diagnostic or calibration device and an obstruction detector. Similar detector devices, including such transceivers, may be employed in loading docks for detecting the status of dock levelers and vehicle restraint devices. Radio frequency communication eliminates the need for hard wiring and also provides for transmission of commands and status information between various control units.
L'invention concerne des émetteurs-récepteurs radio fréquence à faibles coûts et à faible consommation d'énergie, lesquels sont incorporés dans des systèmes de commande d'actionneurs de barrières, aux fins d'émission de signaux entre une unité de commande d'actionneurs, une ou plusieurs unités de commande à distance, un dispositif de diagnostic ou d'étalonnage et un détecteur d'obstruction. Des dispositifs de détecteur similaires, notamment de tels émetteurs-récepteurs, peuvent être utilisés dans des plates-formes de chargement, afin de détecter l'état des niveleurs de quai et des dispositifs de retenue de véhicules. Une communication radio fréquence remplace un câblage et met en place la transmission d'informations de commandes et d'états entre diverses unités de commande.
