ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved remote control assembly for mechanically con- trolling the operation of a hydrostatic pump which may be used to power the attachments on a tractor-like vehicle. The assembly in- cludes a first control unit positioned at a first remote location on the tractor and a second control unit positioned at a separate and distinct remote location. The assembly includes a control arm secured to a pump control element whose rotation controls the pump operation. A pivot arm is pivotally carried by the control arm and has a first control cable from the first control unit connected to one end and a second control cable from the second control unit connected to the opposite end. The assembly is con- figured such that when the first control unit is locked in a neu- tral position, the second control unit is operable to rotate the pivot member about its first end to operate the control arm and when the second control unit is locked in a neutral position, the first control unit is operable to rotate the pivot arm about the opposite end to operate the control arm thereby enabling the pump to be selectively controlled from either of the two remote locations.
