The invention is an apparatus having opposed jaws (10, 11) remotely located at a distance from an actuator for the jaws (10, 11). In particular, the apparatus has opposed jaws (10, 11) supported rotatably with respect to the actuator for the jaws (10, 11). More particularly, the apparatus is a cutting device having opposed jaws (10, 11) located remotely and rotatably with respect to the jaw actuator for lopping limbs. (Fig. 5)
