ABSTRACT: In a recording and/or playback apparatus which comprises a cassette container which by means of journals received in bearing elements is pivotable between a loading position and an operating position, the bearing elements each have an entrance channel for a journal, which is retained in said channel by means of a spring-loaded latch, the latch being movable by means of a stop provided on the cassette container when said container is tilted beyond the loading position so as to remove the cassette container from the apparatus.
