CASE 4261 -10- ABSTRACT A removable coil electromagnetic filter consisting of a vessel, a magnetizable filter assembly disposed therein being in one embodiment a bed of magnetizable balls, a removable magnetizing means, being in one embodiment an electromagnetic coil, to enable removal and replacement thereof without dismantling piping to the vessel. In one embodiment a central pipe disposed within the vessel serves as a filtrate outlet conduit and provides a hollow core for the magnetizable filter assembly.
