A removable core (10) for supporting a pre-stretched elastomeric tube in a radially expanded condition has first and second opposite ends and at least one primary line (28) of localized weakening starting at the first end (24) and terminating at the second end (26) of the tube. The core further includes a plurality of substantially parallel secondary lines (32) of localized weakening. Each secondary weakening line (32) extends substantially circumferentially from one side the primary weakening line (28) to a termination point spaced apart from the other side of the primary weakening line. Adjacent secondary weakening lines (32) define a strip. This strip begins at the first end of the tube and substantially continues to the second end of the tube.

L'invention concerne une âme amovible (10) servant à soutenir un tube élastomère pré-étiré à un état étendu radialement, ladite âme présentant des première et seconde extrémités opposées (24, 26) et au moins une ligne primaire (28) d'affaiblissement localisé commençant au niveau de la première extrémité (24) et se terminant au niveau de la seconde extrémité (26) du tube. Cette âme comporte aussi une pluralité de lignes secondaires pratiquement parallèles (32) d'affaiblissement localisé. Chaque ligne d'affaiblissement secondaire (32) s'étend pratiquement au niveau de la circonférence à partir d'un côté de la ligne d'affaiblissement primaire (28) jusqu'à un point terminal séparé de l'autre côté de la ligne d'affaiblissement primaire. Des lignes d'affaiblissement secondaires adjacentes (32) forment une bande. Cette bande commence au niveau de la première extrémité du tube et va pratiquement jusqu'à la seconde extrémité du tube.
