An EMI shielded apparatus having a substrate with at least one electrical component disposed on it; a plurality of discrete electrically conductive fastening units disposed in a pattern on the substrate surrounding the at least one electrical component; a shield comprising a dielectric material layer having an inner surface and an outer surface and an alectrically conductive layer over at least one of the inner and outer surface; a plurality of apertures formed in the shield such that the apertures correspond to the pattern of the electrically conductive fastening units; wherein at least one of the apertures has a contact region and wherein both the dielectric material layer and the electrically conductive layer of the shield at the contact region of the aperture are deflectable to the extent necessary to allow the contact region to engage and retain the electrically conductive fastening unit; and wherein the electrically conductive layer of the shield at the contact region is in electrical contact with the electrically conductive fastening unit.
L'invention concerne un appareil de blindage contre les interférences électromagnétiques (EMI), qui possède un substrat sur lequel est placée au moins une composante électrique, une pluralité d'unités de fixation discrètes électriquement conductrices placées sur le substrat selon un motif entourant la composante électrique, un blindage comprenant une couche de matériau diélectrique possédant une surface intérieure et une surface extérieure ainsi qu'une couche électriquement conductrice située sur au moins une des surfaces intérieure et extérieure, une pluralité d'ouvertures formées dans le blindage de manière que ces ouvertures correspondent au motif des unités de fixation électriquement conductrices. Au moins une des ouvertures possède une région de contact et les deux couches, celle de matériau diélectrique et celle électriquement conductrice, du blindage au niveau de la région de contact de l'ouverture peuvent être déviées dans la mesure nécessaire pour permettre à la région de contact de se mettre en prise avec l'unité de fixation électriquement conductrice et de retenir cette dernière. La couche électriquement conductrice du blindage au niveau de la région de contact est en contact électrique avec l'unité de fixation électriquement conductrice.
