Abstract REMOVABLE HEMOSTASIS VALVE A hemostasis valve comprising a body having a central-passage, a seal having a central aperture therein, the seal being mounted in the central passage, and a diaphragm having a wall member with a slit therein, the diaphragm being mounted in the central passage, the diaphragm wall member having an inner bottom diaphragm surface, and an outer bottom diaphragm surface, the slit extending from the inner bottom diaphragm carafes to the outer bottom diaphragm surface, the wall member having a diaphragm chamber therewithin.
