A liner (6) for an induction furnace (12) is capable of being removed intact or rotated. Removal allows the liner (6) to be refurbished or replaced with a different liner. Rotation allows asymmetrical wear on the liner (6) to be evened out by periodic rotation. The liner (6) is preferably made of a composite material of inductively transparent fibers and inductively transparent inorganic cements.
La présente invention concerne un garnissage (6) pour four à induction (12), qui peut être retiré intact ou tourné. L'enlèvement permet de rénover ce garnissage (6) ou de le remplacer. La rotation permet d'uniformiser son usure, si elle est dissymétrique, grâce à une rotation périodique. Ce garnissage (6) est fait de préférence d'un matériau composite constitué par des fibres transparentes à l'induction et des ciments inorganiques transparents à l'induction.
