The invention provides a loading apparatus adaptable for use on vehicles. The apparatus may have a first stationary frame (19) having a drive mounted on it; a second movable frame (11) having mounted on it a flexible connector tag (66) adapted to releasably engage the drive on the first stationary frame; and a locking system that is mounted on the first frame to hold the connector tag in releasable engagement with the drive. The locking system may be movable between an open and a closed position by movement of the movable frame onto the stationary frame. The locking system may for example have arms that cooperate to help retain a chain in place on a drive sprocket in a closed position. In an alternative aspect, the invention provides an elevatable support that adapts to slidably receive the movable frame as it is moved by the drive onto the stationary frame.
L'invention concerne un appareil de chargement à utiliser sur des véhicules. L'appareil peut comporter un bâti fixe (19) doté d'un entraînement, un second bâti mobile (11) comportant une plaque de connexion flexible (66) conçue pour engager, de façon libérable, l'entraînement sur le premier bâti fixe, et un système de verrouillage monté sur le premier bâti pour maintenir la plaque de connexion en position d'engagement libérable avec l'entraînement. Le système de verrouillage peut passer d'une position ouverte à une position fermée en déplaçant le bâti mobile sur le bâti fixe. Le système de verrouillage peut, par exemple, comporter des bras qui coopèrent pour retenir une chaîne en place sur un galet d'entraînement dans une position fermée. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, l'invention concerne un support montant qui s'adapte pour recevoir par coulissement le bâti mobile lorsqu'il est déplacé par l'entraînement sur le bâti fixe.
