The mixture is then passed through heat exchanger (301) and flows via (302) to an extraction vessel (304). The residum/oil mixture then leaves via outlet (308) and asphalt pump (309).

L'invention concerne un procédé consistant à combiner les résidus stagnants des huiles lourdes avec du propane dans des conduites (146) et à pomper ce mélange à travers un mélangeur statique (300). Ce mélange passe ensuite à travers un échangeur de chaleur (301) et s'écoule (302) en direction d'une cuve d'extraction (304).
