A method of removing a deck from an offshore structure (11) including a deck (13) supported on a jacket (12), includes the following steps: a) positioning a floating vessel (10) around the jacket with respective parts of the vessel on opposite sides of the jacket (12) and trusses (3, 4) extending between the opposite parts of the vessel, b) engaging parts of the trusses (3, 4) with legs (15) of the jacket, c) securing the trusses (3, 4) to the jacket (12), d) relieving the load carried by portions of the legs (15) of the jacket (12), e) cutting through the portions of the legs (15) of the jacket to divide the jacket into a lower part and an upper part carrying the deck, the trusses (3, 4) being secured to the upper part of the jacket (12), f) transferring the weight of the upper part of the jacket (12) and of the deck (13) via the trusses (3, 4) to the floating vessel (10), and g) removing the floating vessel (10), with the trusses (3, 4), the upper part of the jacket (12) and the deck (13) supported thereon, from the vicinity of the lower part of the jacket (12). Apparatus for carrying out the method is also described.

L'invention concerne un procédé de démontage d'un pont d'une construction en mer (11) comprenant un pont (13) soutenu par un treillis (12), consistant : a) à placer un support flottant (10) autour du treillis avec des parties dudit support situées sur des côtés opposés du treillis (12) et des armatures (3, 4) s'étendant entre les parties opposées du support ; b) à faire entrer en prise des parties des armatures (3, 4) avec les montants (15) du treillis ; c) à fixer les armatures (3, 4) au treillis (12) ; d) à soulager la charge portée par des parties des montants (15) du treillis (12) ; e) à couper les parties des montants (15) du treillis afin de partager ce dernier en une partie inférieure et une partie supérieure portant le pont, les armatures (3, 4) étant fixées à la partie supérieure du treillis (12) ; f) à transférer sur le support flottant (10) le poids de la partie supérieure du treillis (12) et du pont (13) au moyen des armatures (3, 4), et g) à enlever le support flottant (10) avec les armatures (3, 4), la partie supérieure du treillis (12) et le pont qu'elle supporte, en les éloignant de la partie inférieure du treillis (12). L'invention concerne également un appareil permettant de mettre en oeuvre ce procédé.
