ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A reproducing apparatus, such as a motion-picture film projector, including a transport device for processing a film through the projector is provided with a device for detecting an interrupt-transport marking which is adapted to stop a motion- film transport in response to interrupt-transport frame markings on the film and reproduces the thusly marked image frames as still images; interrupt-transport frame markings are provided at the terminal frame of each motion-picture scene on the motion- picture film, or at each still-shot image frame on the motion- picture film, or both to enable a user of the reproducing ap- paratus to select automatic reproduction of motion-picture scenes interspersed with automatic still reproduction of still shots, and, additionally, to select automatic still reproduction of the terminal frame of each motion-picture scene. -1-
