S P E C I F I C A T I O N TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: Be it known that I, LANCE WILLIAM BULLOCK, a citizen of the Commonwealth of Australia, residing at Lot 1, Jumping Creek Road, Wonga Park, in the State of Victoria, Commonwealth of Australia, have invented certain new and useful improvements in and relating to a "CONTAINER LID" of which the following is a specification. ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A lid for a container having an opening therein defined by a container wall portion and surrounded by a flange extending outwardly from the opening. The lid comprises a generally planar central portion, a channel shaped rib surrounding the central portion and adapted in use to be received within the opening and engage the container wall portion defining the opening, and a rim surrounding the channel-shaped rib outwardly of the rib, the rim being adapted in use to engage the flange surrounding the opening in the container. A container and lid combination is also disclosed.
