A cosmetic product is provided that includes a cosmetic composition (2) and a container (1) for storing same. The container (1) has a first and second section (4, 6). Each section is defined by a hemispheroidal chamber (8, 18) having an open mouth (12, 22) with a circumferential edge (14, 24) therearound and a flange (10, 20) projecting outwardly therefrom. The first section (4) contains the cosmetic composition (2) and is sealed by a web (16) completely covering the mouth (12) as well as the flange (10). On the flange (20) of the second section (6) is a lip (26) with a clamping device (28) for releasably engaging the first section flange (10) thereby releasably joining first and second sections to one another.
