2099863 9215043 PCTABS00015 A resealable cartridge (12) for sheets of photographic film includes a one-piece, photo-inert and optically opaque polymer tray (20). The tray (20) has a generally planar bottom wall (26) and front, back and side walls (28A-28D) with upper edges and outwardly extending lips (30A-30D). The lip (30A) extending from the front wall (28A) includes a series of spaced cut-outs (42). A flexible, photo-inert and optically opaque foil laminate cover (22) for the tray (20) has front, back and side edges (23A-23D). The front edge (23A) of the cover (22) includes spaced opening/closing mechanism-engaging apertures (46) which overlie the cut-outs (42) in the front lip (24A) of the tray (20). Photo-inert and optically opaque adhesive segments (24A-24D) on the lips (30A-30D) of the tray (20) provide a resealable opaque seal between the edges (23A-23D) of the cover (22) and lips (30A-30D) of the tray (20).
