ABSTRACT A sealing tape for a resealable flexible packag- ing comprises a plastic tape, a first section of which is provided with a permanent high-tack adhesive, a second section is provided with a low-tack adhesive and is folded onto itself with the interposition of a layer of silicon, the face end of the second section being adhesive-free, the tape overcomes problems associated with prior tapes in resealing flexible packaging after it has been open and a portion of the contents removed, particularly as to manufacture and handling.
