A reservoir drainage structure drains water from a soil surrounding a footing to a collecting tube leading to a collecting reservoir located away from the footing. The drainage structure includes first and second drainage tubes hydraulically connected together so as to be positionable in the soil in a generally surrounding relationship around the footing. The first drainage tube extends in a generally horizontal geometrical plane, and the second drainage tube extends from the first drainage tube to the collecting tube in a generally downwardly oriented direction relative to the geometrical. The second drainage tube extends from the first drainage tube in a generally outwardly oriented direction relative to the footing foundation.
