An ink cartridge (1) for a reservoir pen has a body (2) which encloses an ink- chamber (3) that is initially sealed near the front end of the cartridge by a closure formed by a plug (4). The plug (4) sealingly engages in an axial bore (5) which is open to the front end of the cartridge and is slidably mounted in the cartridge body (2) so as to be moved rearwardly by engagement with a peg (34) upon insertion of the cartridge (1) into a pen, thereby allowing ink flow from the ink chamber (3) through the bore (5) and to a writing tip (23) of a nib (22) of the pen. The peg (34) is sized so as to form a seal with the inner surface of the bore (5) when fully inserted thereinto.
Une cartouche d'encre (1) destinée à un stylo comprend un corps (2) comportant une chambre à encre (3) qui est dans un premier temps obturé au niveau de l'extrémité avant de la cartouche au moyen d'un opercule formé par un bouchon (4). Le bouchon (4) rentre étanche dans un trou traversant axial (5); il est ouvert vers l'extrémité avant de la cartouche et est monté coulissant dans le corps de cartouche (2) de manière à pouvoir se déplacer vers l'arrière en entrant en contact avec une cheville (34) après l'insertion de la cartouche (1) dans le stylo, ce qui permet à l'encre de s'écouler dans la chambre (3) à travers le trou traversant (5), à destination de l'extrémité d'écriture (23) d'une pointe (22) du stylo. La taille de la cheville (34) est choisie de manière à se mettre en contact étanche avec la surface interne du trou (5) lorsqu'elle complètement insérée dans ce trou.
